Hello! I’m Angela, the creator of Bricks and Blocks. At 44, I’ve circled back to creative passions that bring together the best of physical and digital building worlds.
My journey with Lego began in childhood, where those colorful bricks sparked my imagination and taught me the fundamentals of design and construction. Like many adults, life took me in different directions, but the builder in me never disappeared. Recently, I’ve returned to Lego with renewed enthusiasm and a specific mission: to create my own intricate Lego city from the ground up. This time, I’m approaching it with adult perspective, patience, and planning that I couldn’t appreciate as a child.
Minecraft Fan
My Minecraft adventure began more recently—about 18 months ago—but quickly developed into a passionate creative outlet. What drew me in was the limitless potential to construct everything from cozy cottages to sprawling fantasy castles. I’ve fallen in love with the process of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible within Minecraft’s block-based framework, discovering new techniques and constantly refining my builds.

The intersection of these two worlds—where physical bricks meet digital blocks—has become my sweet spot. My growing collection of Minecraft Lego sets stands as the perfect physical manifestation of this creative overlap, bridging my dual passions in the most satisfying way.
