This Week in LEGO: BrickLink Series 6 Second-Chance Sale + Insiders Members Day (13 August 2026)

This week brought a genuine second chance and a reminder to act fast on two fronts. From a limited BrickLink restock to a growing retirement list, here’s everything adult builders need to know from the past week.

BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 Catch-Up Sale Launches 17 August

BrickLink confirmed that leftover Series 6 stock, sets originally produced to cover cancelled orders and lost shipments, will go on sale starting 17 August. All five Series 6 sets are included, among them the highly sought 910057 Outlaw Forest Den. Availability is staggered by region: EMEA and AMS launch first on 17 August, with APAC following on 18 August.

Stock is genuinely limited to leftover production, not a fresh manufacturing run, and purchase is capped at one of each set per person. Exact quantities per region haven’t been confirmed publicly, so treat “limited” as literal rather than marketing language. If you missed Series 6 the first time, set an alarm for your region’s launch window; these have sold out in minutes before.

Insiders Members Day Recap

LEGO ran its first-ever Insiders Members Day on 11 August, a one-day promotion giving members a bonus 500 points on any purchase, regardless of order value. It stacked with the ongoing LEGO Restaurants of the World: Greece (40908) gift-with-purchase for larger orders, and ran alongside the existing One Piece double-points promotion, which continues until 20 August or while stocks last.

Retirement Watch: What’s Leaving Before Year End

Two AFOL-relevant heavyweights remain on this year’s retirement list. Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon, one of the most collected UCS sets ever produced, and LEGO Ideas 21360 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory are both confirmed to retire before the end of 2026. Neither has an announced exact retirement date yet, so treat “by end of year” as the current confirmed window rather than a hard deadline.

If your collection has room for one more display piece, this is the moment to stop waiting. Once official stock clears out, secondary market prices on both sets typically climb fast, and our guide to organising a growing LEGO collection is worth a look if shelf space is already tight.

New This Month

Builder-focused August releases include LEGO Icons 11381 Jaguar E-Type and 11382 Hubble Space Telescope, alongside a strong LEGO Ideas trio: 21369 The X-Files, 21370 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and 21372 La Catrina. La Catrina follows directly on from the Ideas reveal we covered last month, so it’s good to see it reach shelves.

Also worth knowing: the LEGOLAND building contest deadline lands 6 September, and if BrickLink’s Designer Program voting pattern from earlier this year is any guide, our recap of Series 10 voting is a useful primer on how these programmes typically play out.

This was a week about acting on a deadline rather than waiting for one. Which of this week’s sets has you setting a calendar reminder? Let us know in the comments, and we’ll see you next week for another roundup.
